Obviously, he got the best of me in this first (and second, and third) hand ... my big mistake was playing the flush here over-aggressively on a paired board. I knew his raise before the flop could have been any hand, but when he re-raised me for the extra $17 or so, I could have found an easy fold and gave up my semi-bluff. Very quickly, and foolishly I figured myself committed to the hand and, well, we all see how that turned out.
The funny thing is, I could have waited to re-raise all in on the Turn when the King came, and although my odds would have been a little worse, he would have at least had to fear the K on the board and not just put me on a pure bluff. I guess I just got so excited to see my two spades on the flop against a player I deemed a retard.

The hand had me slightly tilted, until I thought rationally for a second and realized I literally never or as never as possible want to have all my money in that situation. It's so swingy that I assume its a break-even play at best. Especially, on a paired board it's just a bad move.
Now a few hundred hands later I get into this situation with the same guy (or girl). I know my QQ is best pre-flop and if I flop a queen I could have a chance to play with a big pot with him. I thought his hand was either complete trash or a very decent, AK AQ and such. If he had A10, JJ, or KK I was just going to have to pay him off. When I called his all-in, I was not surprised to see the hand and was pretty sick when the river came. This was just gross, and 99% of the time I'm happy to be in this spot. I did indeed trap with him with a huge hand, but just got unlucky in a big pot.

I am experimenting with a new way of playing A as top pair when I think my opponent doesn't have an A. I played this pretty perfect, except for the fact his Ace was crushing mine. I completely didn't put him on an A, otherwise I can easily fold this on the Turn. Ugh, I play bad...

So that borderline monkey pretty much owned me. It should be noted he was one of the big winners early yesterday, with over $100 of my dough. It's pretty sick, but I think I got pretty unlucky in the second hand. It made me feel better to look at my graph and notice that my actual results (the green line) is in the complete opposite direction of my expected results (yellow line), which means I have been getting pretty unlucky and making overall better decisions than other players which is how you make money. If I am getting in my money in with the best hand and get unlucky, well I know that will correct itself in terms of actual results.
Early on my journey my graph was flip flopped and let me tell you, its pretty disgusting (and humbling) when your over-luckiness starts to run out and reality sets in.
